Recent Bombings in Jakarta. The video is from the local television and not subbed or dubbed. It’s sad. The Ritz-Carlton and 5 minutes later the Marriott experienced blasts. So far at least 9 people are dead and at least 36 injured, according to local police and hospitals. In a country were the majority of the population is Muslim, did this really have to happen on a Friday (the most sacred of the week days in Islam)?
Who is this man? Recently deceased Omar Bongo, president of the small central african country of Gabon. Why is he a G you ask? Because from 1967 until his death on June 8th of this year, he presided over his country. Yes, 42 years! Here we only get 8 years of the good ones (lol). The legend lives on… Bongo’s son is one of the presidential candidates for his succession. FYI will keep you posted
This country in central Africa has a new president. If by new you mean newly re-elected. Because the man, Denis Sassou Nguesso was president from 1979 to 1992 and again from 1997 to this new election. Needless to say, the opposition is denouncing electoral fraud.
