MJ’s Pepsi commercial incident July 16, 2009 at 1:23 am
This incident happened in 1984 and might have sent MJ, then 26 years old, down a spiral of plastic surgery and drug abuse. Well, i guess we’ll never know now, but RIP Michael!

Ever since he joined the league, we’re used to T-mac doing work wearing the number 1. This upcoming season it’s all gonna change. No, no, it’s not another player trying to boost jersey sales… T-mac will be wearing number 3 to bring awareness to his Darfur humanitarian project. 3 is a reference to the three points goal of “Peace, Protection and Punishment”. “3 Points” is also the name of the documentary shot during McGrady’s visit to refugee camps. You might not like the player but the man deserves 3 cheers for caring.

Who is this man? Recently deceased Omar Bongo, president of the small central african country of Gabon. Why is he a G you ask? Because from 1967 until his death on June 8th of this year, he presided over his country. Yes, 42 years! Here we only get 8 years of the good ones (lol). The legend lives on… Bongo’s son is one of the presidential candidates for his succession. FYI will keep you posted

This country in central Africa has a new president. If by new you mean newly re-elected. Because the man, Denis Sassou Nguesso was president from 1979 to 1992 and again from 1997 to this new election. Needless to say, the opposition is denouncing electoral fraud.
For Those of you who are not familiar with Bastille day, just like we have the 4th of July in the US, France celebrates the day the monarchy fell as its national holiday. So for everyone I know in the country of wine and cheese: Happy July 14th!
